My God, Not Again. Vanessa’s More Nude Photos Leaked!
Disney darling Vanessa Ann Hudgens in is the headlines again, and not just because her new movie “Band Slam” premiere’s in LA on Thursday night. It seems that yet another crop of racy photographs of the High School Musical start have surfaced online.
Back in 2007 pundits wondered if Disney would drop the starlet when nude photos that she apparently took of herself to send to a boyfriend showed up online. At the time Hudgens released a statement to fans in which she apologized and surprisingly Disney backed her all the way. She went on to reprise her role as high schooler Gabrielle Montez in both High School Musical 2 and 3. So far she has made no comment about the latest batch of photos.
It is not thought that the photographs, which date back to when the now 20 year old starlet was 17, are new but were taken around the same time as those leaked in 2007, when she was reportedly dating “Drake and Josh” star Drake Bell. She is now of course involved with fellow HSM star Zac Efron.
Cynics might wonder about the timing of these new “leaks”. Although her new film “Bandslam” is fairly light family fare another movie which she is currently working on “Sucker Punch” has her portraying a foul mouthed hooker, a role miles away from that of the cute but innocent Gabrielle.
Like many other Disney teen stars before her Vanessa is hoping to shed some of her good girl image in order to be taken more seriously as an actress. In light of that a little controversy might not hurt at all.
The latest photos do raise a good question though; is it fair to blame or judge the actress for pictures that were taken in the privacy of her own home and apparently never intended for eyes other than hers and the unnamed boyfriend? Perhaps not, but unfortunately often being in the public eye means not being able to have as much privacy as a “regular” person, a fact that Vanessa herself seemed to acknowledge in a recent interview when she said “It has become crazy, just the fact that we have people following us around. We’re girls with 40-year-old guys chasing us [and] stalking us all day. It’s really weird. But I feel like it’s something that comes with the territory. Unfortunately there is not much you can do about it.”

You can stop taking the pictures with a cell phone that can then be hacked, you idiot. Get a camera like everyone else who wants to take nudies of themselves.
