I was always taught By My Mom and Dad to be honest, The people That are honest can sleep at night. The other type of people May be Wealthier But They have to live with the guilt of what They have done in lying nad Cheating Thier way to the top. This will cause inner guilt That will cause deppression and all kinds of Mental Health problems . one thing to remember is You will reap what you sow and That includes Lyies and cheaters,There is no use for this kind of stuff as for thast person who couldnt get Their unemployment I would talk to someone About starting a class action siut, the other Thing is if They didnt fire you , then I dont understand Why The unemployment office didnt ask You why You couldnt get Your Job backk, because Here They do that and If you can go Back You dont get unemployment

There has been a serious breakdown in our society. Many do not admit to it, others are unaware of it. Of course honesty is the best policy. Without it there is no standard to go by. There is no baseline. Without honesty it is every man for himself. People will make up stories and rules to suit them only.
People have gotten to the point now where they distrust others before even giving them a chance with trust. So we can not get anywhere under those circumstances.
Losing a job because you are honest is simply not acceptable. Bosses lying about serious problems such as mold and filth in the workplace is simply not acceptable when we all know mold id a bad thing.
When people are treated all alike regardless of performance on the job or elsewhere it is a system that does not work. Without some system and standards of honesty and work ethic it is a hopeless situation. That is why people are so digruntled and disillusioned these days. Nothing matters but for the few who are fortunate enough to be in so-called leadership positions but who abuse the responsibility that goes with it by manipulating peole and lying to cover themselves.
Use money and value people. Not the other way around. Honesty should be brought back. Make the people who are dishonest pay for being dishonest. Do not penalize good people who are doingthe right thing and who have standards for excellence.

Be honest. However, though honesty is a value (and a values need to be tended to)- honesty itself is phasic and not basic. If it is too firm (no matter how ‘good’ it makes you feel at the time) it may be simple righteousness that you crave. Attend any group that freely offers regular interactive group talk around values. Any group that offers a Healthy facilitator as opposed to a ‘grand pooba’. Try your Yellow Pages. Try “recovery” too.

Unfortunately I have to agree with you! In my own life I once misrepresented the conditions of a job separation on a new job application. I was offered the job and a damn good one it was! I was to start 4 weeks later and in the interim decided to correct the record wanting to start from a position of trust. I was told it was not a deal-breaker until human resources got involved. After an extensive interogation by HR, the offer was rescinded. I was later told by a friend who works for the same company that I should have said nothing ’cause they would never have found out!

its sad to say honesty is not the best policy in modern times,and its true,you have to watch everything you say especially to the medical communitee I was honest with my doctor and told her the med i was prescribed caused bad side effects What a mistake They would not give me anything after being on pain mangement for a spinal injury 3 years i was in so much pain not to mention they did not even wean me off .this was a nurse practioner who I would never go to again I could have died of a heart attack going cold turkey that way and the funny thing it was the day before thanksgiving. I even called the pain mang office several times and was ignored i cried in pain to the office staff and the nurse prac. They ignored my cries I called this abandament.This was the worst time in my life .this was also after having surgery.I feel i should have at least gotton my pain meds but i was left to suffer .after 3 weeks I finally seen my doctor and was started back on meds again The nurse pract did not know what she was doing No one should have to go though that!!!!

old school ways should be remember and followed no mater the pressures externally brought upon oneself to conform to the status quo. Your allegence to ones own personna will get you thru the most difficult situations forced upon you by forces outside your personal realm of reality. Those unfamiliar energies are being exerted at your soul to bring you down to a level never before experienced. Following your path of choice. You are who you are already. Partly due to your own choosing and partly due to your history and enviornment. Do not let the powers that be dictate your alignment within yourself follow your heart and soul, they will bring you the rewards that you desire. VARYING FROM THIS PATH CAN ONLY END IN SELF DESTRUCTION, AS WE HAVE ALL WITNESSED THE COMING OF THE END OF CIVILIZED SOCIETY AS WE ONCE NEW IT. Kismet! Although we are living in an age where the ruthless and dishonest SEEM to REIGN, and where every other person is schooled in the ways of “THE PRINCE” by Machiavelli, there is still a law that exists called KARMA! Karmatically, what you do to someone else, in essence you are doing to yourself! BECAUSE IT WILL COME BACK IN SOME FORM OR WAY!Also known as the boomerang effect. Those who cheat are also cheated. If you plant a peach tree, in the right season you will get….PEACHES and not apples! I’m not saying to close your eyes and be a fool, but when you walk straight, although difficulties, OBSTACLES and HARDSHIPS come your way, you ALWAYS come out AFLOAT; ON TOP! It’s just a matter of time! The problem with dishonesty is that a lie doesn’t have legs and more lies will have to be told to keep the original one standing. Secondly, a dishonest person needs to have a great memory! If there is an inconsistency in your story you will be found out! It’s so much easier to just tell the truth!!
