Yes, unfortunately Dan is right. The world population MUST stop increasing. However, and VERY unfortunate for our children and grandchildren…. RELIGION is not going to allow our world to change for the better. RELIGION is leading to lack of education (dont want people to think for themselves or make EDUCATED decisions, that would NOT be good for the Pope/Allah/Jesus—pick one). RELIGION also promotes overpopulation, because, as we all know, birth control pills are a sin. Now, before you crucify me… (pardon the pun) you should know that I DO believe in GOD… in a HIGHER power that is much much bigger than our piddly existence… but I’m also pretty sure that GOD is PISSED OFF at how MAN has twisted HIS love and generosity in the name of GREED and keeping MEN in power. GOD does not want us DESTROYING the INCREDIBLE gift of EARTH. What a precious jewell we were given, what incredible miracles of life here on this oasis in the pits of HELL that is our universe. Look around people, we dont exactly have someplace ELSE to live. I’m also pretty sure that GOD does NOT want children born into extreme poverty, just to starve and die of some easy to treat disease. I’m also CONVINCED that God intended for us to use our brains (another gift) for HELPING each other, and not KILLING each other, or passing judgement on our differences, or keeping others imprisoned in despair. I just wish that we could wake the world up. Make them realize they are being LIED TO. No matter what NAME you give to GOD…. we all still have the same NEEDS. We are all HUMANS on this tiny grain of sand, and we NEED each OTHER to get out of this mess. Stop listening to those preachers and pundits that tell you to HATE your fellow man/woman. Lets give birth control and education to ALL WOMEN across the world. Burka?? Come on now, if thats not evil and oppressive, I dont know what is.

might as just not worry about the destruction of all the natural resources, with 6 billion and climbing everyday it doesn’t have much of a chance till its all gone and there is nothing left but panic and chaos

Let me say one thing about disappearing forests. Almost nobody gives a damn. I’ve been watching a TV series called American Loggers. Those guys are only interested in how many trees they can cut down in a day so they can get paid. If they could cut down a whole forest in a day, they would not give a damn as long as they get paid overtime.

They got families and young children that will have to live in a world without trees, but they are only interested in how much money they can make today. They are seriously pissed that wood mills are closing down. So don’t act like people are sad that the forests are disappearing because they support animal life or clean the atmosphere. It only matters to loggers that eventually they’ll run out of trees to cut down.
