Another pricey burger was created in Jakarta, Indonesia at the Four Seasons Motel. This burger is thought to be the world’s most expensive hamburger in history. The burger is an interesting unification of the East meets the West. A famous pizza called the “Pizza Royale 007” was prepared using an organic pizza base, topped with edible gold sheets, fine cognac marinated lobster, champagne soaked caviar, sun blush tomato sauce, Scottish soaked salmon, and venison. This pricey pizza was created by a Glasgow based restaurateur by the name of Domenico Crollo and sold for x2,150. The proceeds were generously donated to the Fred Hollows Foundation. This foundation aims in helping the prevention of blindness.
Let’s face it; all nationalities are obsessed with fast food. In an American survey, studies show that about ¼ of all Americans eat fast food at least once per day. Rather than eat cheaply priced fast food, (which is very highly processed), people are willing to go over the top for high quality food. Just how far they plan to go depends on the size of the wallet. Fast food is here to stay with higher standards in ingredients. Yes, it’s surprising how much money a person will spend to get the product their pallet desires.
